Tour Itinerary through the South Valley - Cusco
This journey begins by picking you up from your hotel around 08:30 am. Then we will go by bus to the south of Cusco, during this journey we will be able to observe beautiful landscapes of the Andean Mountains. The first stop will be the archaeological center of Tipon.
10:00 am Visit Tipón, Inka ceremonial center where the flow of water from the high peaks of Cerro Pachatusan to the lowlands of the valley was controlled through a stone channel. Later we will visit the archaeological complex of Pikillaqta.
11:00 am Visit pikillacta which literally means "city of fleas". It is an old walled citadel of the Wari Empire, which was one of the most important regional centers of the Wari Culture in its expansion towards the city of Cusco.
Finally we will conclude the journey visiting the beautiful Church of Andahuaylillas,
12:00 pm Visit Andahuaylillas, a small jewel of the Colonial period, also known as 'La Sistina de América', inside which is an impressive collection of canvases with frames bathed in gold leaf and wall paintings, baroque altarpieces, and more. We will also be able to appreciate the famous pentalingual door.
14:30 pm will be back in the city of Cusco
